What We Do

What We Do

As a small business based in Bristol’s inner city ourselves, we know first-hand the issues and challenges small businesses face. However, as BEST and many other local businesses prove: being small now is no barrier to becoming BIG in the future!

We’ve developed a range of free services to help your business grow. It’s all about breaking down the barriers to business success:

Advice

Free confidential business advice with a friendly, experienced advisor. We can offer a tailored service to meet your needs – whether you want a one-off advice session or ongoing support.
Finance

We can help you find the right finance for your business.
Property

We can help you find the right space for your business, help you negotiate with your landlord and give you advice on planning applications.
Marketing

We promote and celebrate the inner city in order to encourage a city-wide market for Eastside’s small businesses. We can also offer you marketing advice via business advisors, a presence on our Visit Eastside online directory and visibility through a range of celebratory events and campaigns
Action Plans

We research and produce practical plans to tackle the long-term barriers to enterprise. We work closely with communities and focus on small areas in order to consolidate our successes. Stapleton Road and Redfield are two areas that we are currently working with.
Strategic Work
We work to influence mainstream policy that affects your business and your community.

The first ever downloadable walking tours of Easton and St Pauls are now live on line. Visit the site to download your free tours, and meet the people and places of Bristol’s unique inner city!
